About the Name
Virbel Vind comes from the German word "Wirbelwind" meaning 'hurricane'.
The idea was slightly inspired by the not so pleasent events of 2005, ie hurricane 'Katrina', but also because I've been known as a hurricane... Yes, even before 2005 it wasn't anything special to make jokes about it.

As for why VirbelVind instead of WirbelWind? If any normal English speaker read "Wirbelwind" they would, more likely than not, say it wrong.

Thus, to make it easier, the name is written with a V instead of a W. Plus it looks cool. Maybe.


About the Layout
I'm wasn't terribly productive with it and just used a picture that I've been doodling around on, of Ghosty and FJ. From a super secret project....
The background is also just a bunch of my pictures. Oh joy. I plan on maybe fixing the layout sometime rather soon but for now it should be good enough. For nowww.

About the Site
VirbelVind is, for the time being, just my personal little nonsense site. I originally got the domain back in 2005 as before mentioned when I was going through a website making phase, hence it had a little more perpose I do suppose. I do however plan on making a website about Felix Mendelssohn and co. in the... Future. But untill then it is just a mess of junk I deem worthy of showing the world. So next to everything I do.
