About the Name:
Virbel Vind comes from the German word "Wirbelwind" meaning 'hurricane'.

The idea was slightly inspired by the not so pleasent events of 2005, ie hurricane Katrina, but also because I've been known as a hurricane even before 2005.
Hell, even my hair makes people think hurricane.

As for why VirbelVind instead of WirbelWind? If any normal English speaker read "Wirbelwind" they would, more likely than not, say it wrong.
Thus, to make it easier, the name is written with a V instead of a W
... That and I highly doubt Wirbelwind.com / de would still be free.

About the Layout
First things first, I did not draw the picture in the layout.
The picture in the layout is of me somewhere in Brandenburg or so reading a book.
I took the picture and traced over it and put a little colour under the lines and then played around with opacity.

So, again, I did not draw it.

The text that I used was out of the book I was reading ( "Veni, vidi, vici - Caesar und die Kunst der Selbstdarstellung" by Wolfgang Will) and is a quote of Sallust in "De coniuratione Catilinae" about Caesar and Cato.
You can find it in the original Latin with English translations here(53-54)

And, as for the colour, I just happen to love green.
